STEP 1 - INITIAL EVALUATION
At your initial evaluation your doctor will schedule blood work and discuss your desired results or goals to find the best treatment option for your individual needs.
STEP 2 - START PROGRAM
You’ll begin your customized regimen which will include the only FDA-approved medication for teens, Wegovy, diet and nutritional guidance, and frequent checkins to keep you on track.
PHASE 3 - RESULTS
Monthly checkins with your nutritionist and doctor to continue to improve your personalized plan as your health and wellness evolve.

Wegovy Prescription Information
The new indication for Wegovy follows results from the STEP TEENS clinical trial, a phase 3 study that included 201 teens ages 12 to 17, all but one of whom had a BMI at or above the 95th percentile for their age and sex. By the end of the 68-week trial, participants taking Wegovy saw an average decrease of 16.1 percentage points in their BMI percentile compared with the placebo group, whose average BMI percentile increased by 0.6 percentage points. Of those who received Wegovy, 73% lost at least 5% of their starting body weight by the end of the study.
This once weekly injection can be administered by the teen, their parent, or a nurse – whatever works best for you!

While each of the medication options have specific criteria for usage, if you have a BMI of 27 or more, you might be a good candidate. There are many options available though, so if you’re looking for help with management, we can create a program specific to you.
Depending on the medication, you may be taking pills, or you may need SubCutaneous delivery. Either way, our team will guide you each step along the way.
The length of the program will depend on you specifically, but you can expect at least 3-6 months. The goal is to have safe, sustainable weight loss, and we’ll be your partner for as long as that takes!
